Sunday MANDARIN Language Classes will start on October 2nd, 2022 and are open to all elementary age kids (5-11 years old). Classes are taught by teachers that are native Mandarin language speakers.
At Lango Kids Northern Virginia students are placed within small groups, this is to guarantee each student gets direct instructional support and individual attention. Small groups are also dynamic enough to have great interactions, plenty of time to practice speaking, and fun learning together. China is a big country of 1.5 billion inhabitants and has a long written history, of about 5000 years, so it was hard for the Chinese people to develop only one language. There are ten Chinese dialects, but the most important one is mandarin, which originated from the northern part of the country and was for almost a millennia the language of the capital.
Today, Mandarin is the national, official language in China and it is spoken by about 70 percent of the population. It is also a UN working language and it is used by most of the Chinese people that live all over the world. It is very difficult to learn Chinese using only books because one must hear the accents, that are very important in this language.
Knowing Mandarin Chinese means to get in touch with a culture that is both modern and ancient and also to be able to understand a dynamic part of the world, for business and knowledge.
